Singapore VCC Incorporation Steps: Pre-Incorporation Checklist and Filing Sequence

A workable VCC filing sequence starts with agreed commercial terms and ends with a checked submission pack. Filing first and correcting the structure later can create avoidable document and provider work.
Before the name application
Confirm the proposed strategy, investor group, VCC form and permissible manager. Identify the directors and who will act as the filing party. Decide the financial year end with the accounting timetable in mind.
After the name is approved
Use the exact approved name in the constitution and application documents. Complete the officer, subscriber, manager and registered-office information. Resolve consent and declaration requirements with the filer.
Prepare one controlled checklist showing each document, its current version and approval status. A folder containing several unsigned versions is not a completed pack.
Before submission
Have the filer reconcile the application against the signed documents. Check spellings, identification details, the manager’s particulars and the chosen financial year end. Confirm that fees are understood and that the person submitting has the required authority.
Follow ACRA’s current VCC registration steps for the prescribed information and submission process. Government processing time should not be confused with the time needed to draft and approve the pack.
After approval
Save the registration evidence and organise Corppass access. Complete the statutory records, appointments and any sub-fund registrations. Send the final legal information to the bank, administrator and other providers so that their records match.
Keep a separate operating-readiness checklist for account opening, investor checks and payment controls. The first-year calendar covers deadlines that begin once the VCC exists.
